I followed the reset instructions to reset my "Master Password" and it said it was reset. However, it did not email me the new password for it. Where do I get the new password or will they email it to me?

Such a reset basically deletes the logins.json and key3.db files in the profile folder that store the password, so you get the initial Firefox appearance without a master password and with no passwords (all previous passwords are lost).

You need to set a new MP. The reset makes it possible to set a new MP without having to enter the last used MP and keep the existing passwords.

I notice that my above reply is marked as unhelpful.

If this isn't about the master password that is used in the Password Manager then can you give more details what password this is about since you expect an email?

Is this the password of the Sync account?
