This doesn't make any sense to me. I have three phones on my google account, all of them had firefox installed and working as of yesterday. One was stock jellybean, one is CM 12.1 lollipop, one is CM13 marshmallow. Yesterday I completely wiped the jellybean phone and installed LineageOS 14.1 (Nougat). Now, when I try to install Firefox from the play store, I get that message. Including my two other devices that it shows it's already installed on, says its incompatible.

What's going on? I have no idea if it's related to my upgrade, but seems not since it's showing the same thing for my other devices too.

I found something called Firefox Focus it let me install, but not sure if that's really what I want...

And the focus version doesn't even allow tabs, so that's not good enough for me.

Does Mozilla support even check these? It's been 5 days and still no response, I've already tried searching myself, that's why I wrote to support... I've now tried chrome, and it's fine, but I still want firefox for a few reasons, for one I'm used to it, I like when I open another tab I can click that switch to it right away (doesn't seem to be possible in chrome), and I want my adblock plus, seems there's nothing for chrome. Although that data saver option in chrome seems useful, but I never would have even tried chrome if the play store would let me install firefox.

I still want this fixed, but I've found a way around it in the meantime. The problem seems to be with the google play store, not firefox itself, cuz when I download from official mozilla site, it works fine.

For reference, the download link is:

which I found on this wiki:
