I would like to change the names that show up in the navigation pane. There are only 3 (one is myemailaddress on mail.twc.com (a POP account), one says Gmail (a POP account I'll delete soon), & one says myemailaddress@gmail.com (an IMAP setup). If I go to Tools>Account Settings>Account Name & change it, will this affect anything other than the names that appear in the navigation pane? Thank you in advance,

Doing this might break (disable) any filters that move messages into or out of folders in the renamed accounts. But that is usually easy to repair.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your time & expertise. I hadn't thought about the filters, but will make note of them before I change anything.

I assume that this is for the filters on the POP account. It shouldn't affect the filters that I've set up in gmail, right?
