There's a thing that annoys me. Its about YouTube. Im a new Firefox user (switched from Chrome day ago), and this wasn't a case on Chrome. Every new PC start resets personalization on YouTube.com. I'm talking about that Dark theme mode on new YouTube, and all other "small" preferances like 'Autoplay videos','Annotations', etc. First time I open Mozilla after PC start, it's like I didn't changed anything there. Then, when I turn on Dark mode, turn off Autoplay, and I close Firefox, next time I open it, and go for YouTube, it's all good. But then again, after shutting down PC, next day it's same story again. Runing Firefox, go on YouTube, it's all reset. Also, when I set my settings on YouTube, YT links from other sites (like Facebook, or forums, etc.) are again reseting my YouTube settings. Any help?

Hey, I just somehow solved this I hope so. I've set that third-party cookies to 'Never' to accept it, now the youtube links I opened from other sites are working fine. On my settings (Dark mode, Autoplay off). I've also restarted Firefox and system, it's good for now. My CCleaner is always off, I turn it on just once per month to clear registry and to run that cleaner... Thank you very much guys.

Hi, are you accepting and Keeping all the cookies and site date that YouTube needs to keep those settings ? Since is happening when you start up again do you have the setting clear everything when Firefox shuts down on ?

Are you using ccleaner or some other type of program that does the same thiing ?

Are you talking about the website settings or Firefox settings?

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

Its about website settings. I do not have any problems with Firefox settings.

My cookies and site data settings are default. I accept cookies and site data from websites, keep until: they expire and I always accept third-party cookies. I dont have that setting checked. Im using CCleaner.

Hi, please go into your CCleaner and change the settings regarding Firefox. It is Cleaning out your cookies by the sounds of what is happening.

That was very good work. Well done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.

As to the cleaner, open its settings and have it leave the browsers alone.
