Cannot uninstall Firefox, 59.0.3 (x64 en-US) because the file Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\helper.exe was deleted. How do I download that file, so I can uninstall?
I am trying to uninstall an older version of Mozilla Firefox from my computer because I am low on space. When I try to uninstall it, I am given an error message: "Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\helper.exe'." The file must have been deleted from the Mozilla folder on my C: drive. How and/or where can I download that file, so I can uninstall the older version which is Mozilla Firefox 59.0.3 9x65 en-US?
Thanks

Hi, why not just update it. You can not download the file separately from Firefox Are you running another aversion of Firefox as can uninstall that one then install over top of the one you wanted to remove thus fixing it.
If have 2 versions be careful not sharing same bookmarks (not enough info supplied)

or use : Uninstall with : Please check that Firefox is not running in Task Manager and if is End Task https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html or install over top with your version : https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/
Are you sure that this 64-bit Firefox version is still installed and that this isn't an orphaned registry key that the updater failed to remove?
Applications installed in "C:\Program Files\" are 64 bit version (32-bit Firefox versions would be in "C:\Program Files (x86)").
Do you see Firefox in either location if you check this on the hard drive?
- (64-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (32-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
