I've tried everything from turning off hardware acceleration to switching to the extended release version (my current version). Videos stop but the audio keeps playing. The videos in question are streamed from MP4Upload and I'm on Windows.

Hi, please see if there is anything you have not done : VIDEO AUDIO

Since no information was supplied about extensions you are using please list them as well as what Security Program your using........

Please try : SAFE MODE

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:

  • all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
  • default theme is used (no persona)
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
  • default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
  • Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
  • hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Performance > Uncheck to view)
  • plugins are not affected
  • preferences are not affected

TEST''''is issue still there ?

Contact mp4upload or firefox? mp4upload itself doesn't seem to be the problem
