3/15/2019 Google Play Store has had me update FF Android for three days in a row and at least one other time in the past week. Is this normal? They are doing similar with other apps.

Hi Saul

Thank you for your question, I think I should be able to help.

This does not sound like a problem with Firefox for Android, but could be a problem with the Google Play Store app. In the Settings app on your device (typically a cog wheel icon) choose applications and then find the Google Play Store app and the Google Play services app.

Go into each one and select Clear cache (not Clear data!). They try to check for updates in the Google Play store app. This should work, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

It appears that you are using the Beta channel builds (of 66.0) as there can be several beta builds of a version on Beta channel.

Release < Beta (b#) < Nightly (a1)

Firefox 66.0 (for desktop at least) is set for Release on March 19 so it is not out yet.
