Currently the Mozilla.org login page does not send an email to my gmail account, when attempting to trigger this through forgot username or password.

My email on this support-account is a forwarder to my gmail. I've checked it and it's working fine.

Strangely(?) your support signup DOES send a verification email just fine to this same gmail account.

There is no www.mozilla.org account, at least not for the public.

There are many *.mozilla.org sites that have their own separate accounts.

support.mozilla.org, bugzilla.mozilla.org and addons.mozilla.org are separate accounts for an example.
