Hi

  1. In the address bar, type about:config
  2. Search for dom.disable_open_during_load
  3. If the label next to it is true, pop ups are enabled. Double tap this to change it to false to block pop ups.

I hope this helps, but please come back here if you need any further help.

Hello. I did exactly what you emailed me to do, buy the selection is on true, not false, which would mean that I should be able to see things at my bank wesite without a pop up blocking anything, but the message, "a new screen should have come up for you to access your bill pay

No, this did not work. I did what you said and it shows "true," but I still get the message, "a new window should have opened..." I think that I remember the first time I tried to get into this portion of the website, it gave me a choice to block or allow popups and because I didn't know what kind of a popup it was, I chose to block them. Well it turns out in order to get the bill pay portion of my bank's we site I have to allow popups, but something isn't right because it is still not opening that new window and the pop ups enabled says, "true." Please can you help me.
