The font at the top of my screen in iOS that displays the time, date, battery, cell signal strength, etc. is all white when using “light” mode making it unreadable on the white background. Switching to dark mode keeps it white but is visible because of the changed black background. I know we all love dark mode but some websites I prefer in light but can’t read the top.

I have the same problem with my iphone in dark mode, and firefox ios in light mode. I cannot see the top bar with the time, battery and network, as all text is white on a white background. Versiob 20.0 (16437)

@nantoine555 Same issue here when running Firefox when the iPhone is in Dark Mode. I see this as a serious functionality problem as for those people with data plan limitations are not able to view if their Wifi is connected or not. The iPhone status bar is not viewable at this time.

Firefox IOS Version 20.0 (16437)

EDIT -

I figured it out. If you run your iPhone in Dark Mode you must change your Firefox browser to run in Dark Mode as well. This must be done MANUALLY by going into Settings > Display and chosing Dark Mode.

If you run your iPhone in Light Mode, change Firefox to Light Mode MANUALLY using the same procedure.
