I clicked on an mp3 link that I wanted to download. A dialog box popped up that asked if I wanted to handle mp3s with Google Play Music. I decided to try it, but accidentally told it to ALWAYS open with GPM. I have looked everywhere for how to get Firefox on Android to ask me or just download the file.

Different Android versions have different methods, but in general, if you go to

Android Settings > Apps > [app you no longer want to be default]

and scroll down a bit, there is a defaults area whether you can change default apps or remove its default status.
