Hello

Thunderbird is my main email client on three laptops, two running Linux and my main laptop running Windows 10. It loads and operates at normal speeds on Linux machines, however, it takes 120 seconds (no exaggeration) just to open the first screen on Windows. This has been the case since I first installed a year ago. Once fully loaded, it is slower than on Linux, but acceptable.

Is there a startup setting I can check or change? For information, the laptop is an AMD A10 processor with 16GB RAM, HP branded laptop.

Many thanks for your help.

Bob

First, run in Windows safe mode to test the effect of startup apps, especially antivirus. If TB doesn't start up any faster, try running TB in safe mode (hold Shift when launching). Do you have several network calendars?
