Firefox (or UBlock) preventing my sending linked article

One of the publications I read permits me to relay some articles by email to a contact or friend. The email option of that "gift article" mechanism does not work. I can punch on the "email" icon all day long but nothing happens and I get no window that permits me to tell the sender / publication where to send the gift article. It has been suggested that either Firefox or more likely the UBlock Origin I have that is preventing it. Is there a setting I can change to change this?

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.

You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.

If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.
