I saw that same article myself earlier.

That link is the Ubuntu build of Firefox. My understanding is that the "mozilla team" are the maintainers of that build.

If you are looking for a Mozilla produced build of Firefox, please use either the Snap, Flatpak or the tar build direct from Mozilla.

if you do use the tarbal from www.mozilla,orgfirefox/all/ make sure the Firefox folder has read/write permissions for the user to get Firefox updates. A easy way is to have Firefox folder in Home for example.
