When I use the Google "Advanced Search" page in Firefox, and then click on one of the search results links to migrate to that page, I find that if I try to go back to the Google Search results page by clicking the back arrow in order to make some slight changes to what I originally had typed in, it has erased everything I had typed in, forcing me to type in all of my search terms all over again. What can I do to get it to retain the words I had typed in?

I don't know the answer to this, but I can confirm it happens on my end as well.

Interestingly, if you navigate back to 'advanced search' via Quick Settings (the cog on the top right of Google's results page) and then Advanced Search, the original search query remains.

Thank you for your response. The workaround that you provided seems to work, but I would like Firefox to fix this problem, because the problem doesn't occur in two other browsers that I tried (namely, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge). Can you please request Firefox to fix this?
