I have a website that keeps opening every second, opening multiple tabs and will knock me out of what I am doing. How can I I block this website? I am not interested in it and have never signed up for information from it.

You should contact that site webmaster about the ads showing up.

If you move your active tab to a new window -- click and drag the tab down an inch or so past the Bookmarks Toolbar to tear it off to a new window -- does the problem follow you to the new window, or does it remain in the original window?

The reason for this test is: if the problem is that an external program is sending links to your default browser, Firefox will open them in the currently active window. If the new window stays quiet, then we would focus on a page in the original window as the source of the new tabs (popup windows diverted to tabs instead).
