Sometimes I am able to play games listen to music watch videos but then other times I am not able to. I have adobe flash installed all my plugins seem to be up to date. What could be causing this and how do I fix this problem?

Update the Java plugin to the latest version.


Do you know which plugins are used on pages where you miss the sound?

You have Adobe Flash and WMP, so websites that use a player like QuickTime or Real Media Player won't work.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
