Firefox 3.6 will not save tabs, anyone solve this?

I run Firefox on 3.6.12 on two 32 bit PC's with no issues, one is XP Pro, one Windows7.

Now, on my 64 bit Win7 machine, it just will not save tabs when closing and re-opening. Have uninstalled 3x, tried changing the options selection back and forth; nothing works.

Has anyone solved this? Seems it's only a problem on 64 bit.

If you use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox in Firefox 3.5 and later to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox then restoring tabs from the last session ("Save & Quit" or "Show my windows and tabs from last time") doesn't work.

thanks for the reply, cor-el. I must have done that at some point, though do not recall. Anyway, I did a full uninstall, not saving any 'personalizations' and then re-installed and it works perfectly. Added some great add-ons like screenshot pimp, x-marks and speed-dial and it is my favorite browser once again. Happy Holidays
