when i go to the myway sign in page and enter my user name and password the prompt to save password does not pop up. It is not on my exceptions list eithe.

Checking the code for the sign-in page at MyWay, it includes code that tells the browser not to remember login details. You may be able to bypass this by following the instructions in the "Sites prohibit password saving" section at http://kb.mozillazine.org/User_name_and_password_not_remembered
