Since just a couple of days ago...I keep getting a box with CONFIRM Do you want to navigate away from this page? popping up constantly everytime I log into & use facebook, I cannot access profiles, messages etc without having to click ok to navigate away from page, even when I'm on my selected page & want to view for instance comments Istill have to confirm & navigate away from page before I can view comments. I have since re-installed Mozilla...but the same problem is still popping up constantly & only with Facebook, yet if I use IE I don't get the problem. Please help

You may need to remove some Facebook gadgets to get rid of the alert.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
