how do I to run both firefox V.4 and V3 on same computer. I have F.F. version 4 beta installed. If I install version 3 even on a separate drive this gets highjacked by version 4 and the V.3 ceases to exist. I need to make back to back comparisons but cannot.

The current stable version is 3.6. 4.0 is still in beta phase.

3.6 and 4.0 have their own installation directory, so you don't need to install them on different drives.

However if you want to use them both and prevent interferences between versions, use a specific profile for each version. If you customized one version and you want the same customization for the other one, see Recover important data from an old profile.

With that, you can use them both but not at the same time.
