Hello, I have installed firefox mobile and had to remove it since it was getting my phone to crash. since I removed it , my android native browser does not function; I get this error when loading a page. Error: Requested content homepage cannot be accessed. You do not have access to the site.

I never had any problems with my browser before installing firefox. Please help.

I'm sorry you're having this problem. I don't know for certain what the cause or solution is, one thing I would try is this:

  1. Open the Android "Settings" app.
  2. Choose "Applications" then "Manage Applications."
  3. Tap on the "All" tab and then tap on "Browser."
  4. Press the "Force stop" button and then the "Clear Cache" button.

If that doesn't fix the problem, you can try again but press "Clear data" instead of "Clear cache." (Warning: The "Clear data" button will erase your browser bookmarks. You can use an app like "Backup Bookmarks" from the Android Market to export your bookmarks first, and restore them after.)

Hi, I had tried that already, but did not work. I resolved the issue by removing mozilla files from the SD card, that were left behind even after uninstall of firefox.
