I cannot open a new tab when I right click an open tab. Anyone know why or do you have any suggestions?

I keep trying to open a new tab next to a open tab but it doesn't open. I use to be able to open a new tab by right clicking next to an open tab and it would open the new tab next to the existing open tab. Now it won't do it.

Chosen solution

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
