I do not like the new format. I want to return to the previous platform. How do I do that? The printing of shipping labels for USPS shipments was easy before, now it's not. I do not like all the business at the top of the page in the Firefox 4. I do not like that I can't see the www address in full.

It is easy to downgrade to the old version 3.6 but one problem is that with the new rapid release cycles the old version may not be supported for very long. Many things on firefox are customisable, it should be possible to get it to behave and look more like the old version.

If you have a relativly standard setup then putting the mouse cursor between the location bar, where you type www, and the search bar, you should be able to drag to resize the bars. If you use the old customise options, now called toolbar layout you can change the layout, that includes leaving the location bar on it own full width toolbar with nothing else on that toolbar. (if you try to create new toolbars you must actually put content on them).

I will leave the printing problem for someone else to comment on, other than saying

  • Do other webpages print ok ?
  • and can you print the labels from Internet Explorer if necessary.
  • if downloads are involved have you checked security software is not interfering
