I've been browsing for the last couple of days using the latest release and going to common sites; GMail, FaceBook, Wells Fargo & Pandora Radio and Firefox refuses to stay open for longer than 5 minutes or so. After browsing the blogs, it seems that this has been an issue for each new Firefox build. I am running Vista SP2 and have experimented with different tabs, windows and sites including a re-install.

i recently updated my OS to Mint 11 64-bit, which has FireFox 4.0.1, was plagued with annoying crashes for no apparent reason. today i seem to have discovered the problem, i hope. through the software manager i installed flashplugin-installer, after that i opened the browser, went to the add-ons section, disabled the Shockwave Flash 10.3 - d162, restart.

hasn't crashed since, crossing my fingers
