I installed Firefix 4, and a lot of festures do not work at all. The address bar, the search engines, the restore tabs, myhome page, etc. I was happier with Firefox 3.6

When I open a site, in the address bar does not appear the name of the site. I have to click the grey button to the left, and then in the address bar. None of my search engines work. Nothing. I have Tab Mix Plus, which I have used for along time, but its settings do not work, I do not have the close symbol in each tab, when I close a tab,it does not go to the previous tab, it does not show in the menu duplicate tab, it does not restore my opened tabs when Firefox crashes.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See:

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)
