I've noticed for quite a while that I no longer have the option to choose Open Link in New Tab when browsing the Back/Forward history list. I am pretty sure that feature used to be there. Can't even Copy Link Location to do it manually.

Is there an about:config setting to get this feature back?

You can middle-click an entry in that drop down list to open the link in a new tab.

that's nice to know, but I am still looking for the right click option where I can see the choices like I did before.

Firefox never had that AFAIK, so if you had that context menu then it must have been added by an extension or maybe a theme.
