Yes, Mozilla no longer directly supports the old PowerPC architecture. But the real beauty of Mozilla is that anyone can take the basic program and create their own version of a web browser which is almost exactly the same as Firefox. The only real limitation is that they can't use the name or "branding" (icons and such). A group of Mac users did that to make a version of "Firefox 4 - 5 -6" for those old PPC Macs.

For older Macs that aren't supported in Firefox 4 / 5 / 6, try TenFourFox for PowerPC's running Mac 10.4.11 & 10.5.8 .
