I downloaded newest firefox but it is not working. How do I get old version back?
I was using firefox 3.6 (or similar). Downloaded new version as directed but it won't let me open it. My operating system is Mac OS 10.5.8. There is a censor sign over the icon.
Chosen solution
Current Firefox versions (since Firefox 4) for Mac OS now require an Intel processor and won't work on PPC Macs. See Firefox won't start - find solutions under "Firefox will not start on OS X 10.4 or earlier or with a PowerPC processor".
You can download and install the latest Firefox 3.6 release from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
