Hi guys, whats the best way to play audio in 24bit 48Khz WAV format through FF? The format cannot be changed and the files are local. I was hoping the HTML5 audio tag would play it but it seems to be limited to 16bit. Is that correct? Whats the best way to get sound playing quickly?

Which media player plugins do you have?

Plugins like RealPlayer and Windows Media Player and QuickTime should be able to play such files if the player can play them if you open the files directly in the player.

Does it work if you open the file via the location bar?

I only have 16 bit 44kHz files, so can't test, but opening such a file via the location bar works.
