What about the bookmark backups in the profile? Can you not restore them from that? Open "Show All Bookmarks", click on "Import and Backup" > Restore.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Would resetting the sync key delete the bookmarks? Because i have change it to new one since i couldn't remember the old key. If it is, can you help me to get it all back.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Resetting the Sync key will remove all data stored on the Sync server and replace it with the current data, so old data is lost, but it won't affect data stored your own computer.

Did you remove your personal data when you uninstalled Firefox?

If you did then all Firefox profile folders were removed and your personal data including the bookmarks are lost unless you've made a backup.

well I rely on the sync and i didn't know that resetting the sync key will remove all the information. would it be possible if you can restore it from your backup system?

If you've reset the sync key then your old data is no longer present on the sync server and is lost if you do not have a local copy that you can use to restore your data.
