Firefox cannot be opened at all. I've updated Firefox recently, checked addons/plugins, tried running in Safe Mode and it crashes before it restores my session (when in safe mode). I've seen error messages for plugincontainer.exe, that it needs to close. No windows updates need to be installed.

I see that you have Trusteer Rapport installed.
There have been a lot of crashes reported related to that program.

Try to stop Trusteer Rapport if installing the latest version doesn't help.

Start Menu > Programs > Trusteer Rapport > Stop Rapport Mac:System Preferences -> Other -> Rapport -> Stop Rapport
