I've never had so many crashes in one day. Each time I restart, I hardly do anything, just move the mouse, and Firefox crashes. I've sent a report each time.

everything is updated including adobe flash player. Yet since the last update, it keeps crashing for no reason. I just move the mouse or scroll down and it crashes and closes. I am on windows 8. I do not download apps. Explorer seems to work fine. I prefer to use Firefox but can't complete anything I start because it appears to be in crash mode. How do I stop this?

While this is still in research, it seems to be a Windows 8-specific problem between Firefox 19 and a common graphics card/driver. Roll back to Firefox 18.0.2 here:

http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/18.0.2/win32/en-US/

You can install Firefox 18.0.2 over your Firefox 19 installation. It's not a bad idea, however, to back up your personal settings first. See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
