I can't believe how much time I waste deleting the stupid autofill in the crappy "awesome bar" in Firefox Mobile. I have set browser.urlbar.autoFill and browser.formfill.enable to false. It changes nothing. This is ridiculous.

Get your $*!7 together, Mozilla.

I am fairly sure does not browser.urlbar.autoFill apply as the address bar ui is in Java. Which is up and running before Gecko prefs are known, things set in about:config. Filed a bug for this request.

Though browser.formfill.enable should work for page content. Does the browser still autocomplete content forms with the pref set?

Who cares? That's not the issue.

Automatically filling in the address bar is by far the number one biggest annoyance in Firefox Mobile. It is absolutely maddening, and a huge time waster.

Hi,

In my opinion, seeing that Kevin has already filed a bug (Bug 992694 please read bugzilla etiquette before commenting on bugs!) there is nothing to do here until the developers are able to process this feature.
