How do I check or mark an entire list of emails in the inbox or sent folders so I can move them all, etc?

Usually at the top of a list will be a little box one can check which in turn checks every email in the list so I can move them all at once. Is there a way to do this on Thunderbird? Thank you, Michael

Have you ever moved multiple files in in a file manager at once?
Thunderbird works the same way.
Select the first message you want to move. Then press and hold Shift and select the last message to be moved. This selects all messages in between the first and the last one.
By holding down Ctrl and click on an individual messages you can select or de-select them.
Move the selected messages by right-click - Move To.
