A few days ago, on Firefox (been using for many years) middle clicking on a You Tube thumb nail video results in an "Video unavailable This content isn’t available" message. Must left click and and can only have one tab open at a time. Even when my wife emails me a link to see something on You Tube it will not open that video. This is very annoying involving copy and pasting and back tracking.

Searching for a solution, I can deselect video previews in You Tube settings (which I don't need anyway), however this only works in Chrome not in Firefox which is my preferred browser.

Maybe this can be corrected in either a Firefox or You Tube update.

I am trying to add an exisiting email address to Thunderbird, and it is not connecting to the server. I copied the Hostname and Port from the information displayed on the 'External Access' page of the original email host. I checked and rechecked the email address and password and it keeps saying it can't connect to the server.

Hello, my browser on my personal laptop is now under management by my university. I suspect this is because I used this account on their computers and they've gone backwards for whatever reason. I did a little digging but I don't think this is the same problem as the other articles. I'm just hoping there's a way I can disconnect my personal account from my school's systems and such, many thanks

and I am aware of `about:config` -> `layout.word_select.stop_at_punctuation`

here is what bugs me:

with above setting to OFF , when I double click on IP address, like `123.123.123.123` , it selects all , exactly what I want

on the other hand, sometimes I need click on domains , for example I am visiting `https://firefox.org/` , and in address bar , if I double click the domain , it selects `https://firefox.org/` but I want it only to select the `firefox` or `org` depends on where I clicked , as the punctuation OFF only applied to IP, but keep ON with all other text

is this possible ?

If you go to "view", "toolbars", "customize toolbox", you'll see a box titled "search". Problem is, it's worthless. It used to be, you could either search in there using your pre-selected search engine or click on one of the others that are displayed and search using that one. Now, it just sits there taking space. What is the purpose of this? Another thread here titled, "[[Pressing Enter in empty search bar doesn't work anymore|https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1452133?page=2#answer-1669039]]", discusses how the search page no longer works either.

If using just the search bar is "a power that be's" version of efficiency, it's not.

I'm on tb 128 and use roadrunner. I see my emails on spectrum server but can't download them? I was using pop, they said imap is needed.

Thunderbird was deleted from my computer same time it was deleted on phone. On reinsttallation I find that sent mail does not get savedd AND they want my password for everymove, then they tell me it is invalid. When I had TB before, it was not necessaery to sign in or enter a password. If you can't eliminate this needing to enter it at every move, I

In Australia, a lot of organisations are forcing native languages upon us. How can I block these words? I do not want to block the website....just the words in Native Languages.

I think this is a new feature that let's you add background wallpaper. I tried it out when I was signed out and it seemed to work. But after I signed in with my Firefox account it doesn't show up.

It used to be that Firefox would remember where I saved similar files (from the same webpage I assume) in the past and save them to the same directory. That doesn't work anymore and I cannot find any setting for that. Now it always suggests the most recent place I saved to.

Even if you change the setting of Firefox about:config from "true" to "false", it will automatically change from "false" to "true".

privacy.userContext.enabled 

If you change "privacy.userContext.enabled" from "true to false" and check after restarting Firefox, it will revert to "false to true." It is unclear why it reverts to the original state.
