Why am I not able to sign in to sync?
I am trying to get the sync password off my laptop but every time I try to sign in, it says "Attempt Limit Exceeded". Ridiculous!

What do you mean by that? You're trying to view your Sync Password? If so, open Tools > Options -> Security --> Saved Passwords button >> Show Passwords = chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Password)
Try to wait a few hours before doing a new attempt.
Make sure to allow cookies for the accounts.firefox.com domain in case you do not allow cookies generally.
To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
