Icon for an extension has disappeared and I cannot locate it in dropdown area nor customize area.

An extension I have had installed for some time, and which icon was on the toolbar, disappeared from the toolbar. The extension is still in the list and enabled in the add-ons page. I cannot locate the icon in any of the places I would expect to find it. Disable/re-enable and remove/reinstall have not solved this problem. What next?

If missing items are in the Customize palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar. If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette then click the Restore Defaults button to restore the default toolbar setup.

This moved most of my icons off the toolbar and add-on bar back into the customize corral. However it did not return the missing icon to any area.

What add-on is giving you problems? Have you contacted their support site?
