For the past couple of months, random tabs open in Firefox for sketchy dating sites and other adult type sites with sexually explicit content. Virus scans don't find anything. We've searched the internet for solutions, and nothing comes up. It's getting really frustrating. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to get rid of this?

Thanks for any help!

Wanted to add that this started after visiting kids went to an online game site. The computer is right here in the family room, so I know the game site was the only place they went, but I think that *might* be where the problem started.

Hi, it does sound like malware has got in, and games sites are notorious for that. You don't say which virus scans you've run, and different ones tend to find different malware. So please have a work through this article and hopefully it will resolve your problem.

Thanks for the response! I will try a few of the programs listed on the link you posted. I used Norton, TDSSKiller, and AVG to scan, so far.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
