Archive folder gives "unaccessible" error message when I try to open it, and the related archive file shows 0 k. I was trying to archive all email from last year and now have lost it all! Is there a temp file where i can recover it? It does seem that the 20gb are still on the drive.

Gives that error where?

When trying to open the folder. The folder size is 0. I know the files are somewhere on the drive because the total storage on the drive equals the amount that this should be (20 gig). Thanks for help!

lets step back a little here.

Are there files in the drive with the names you associate with your archives? MSF files? SDB folders?

The problem arose when attempting to copy e-mails into a folder contained in the subdirectory. There is an .sbd file showing up in Widows Explorer but unable to open - it says the file or folder is corrupted. The Subdirectory does not indicate there are other folders below it when trying to access through Thunderbird. Tried repairing the folder in Properties/General Information - Repair Folder, but didn't work. Based on the known size of the files in the folders sub-directory and the amount available on the disk, the folders/files appear to be present on the disk.
