The Java Deployment Toolkit usually isn't needed by most sites. Instead, check the version of your '''Java(TM) Platform SE''' plugin on the Add-ons page. Either: * Ctrl+Shift+a * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons In the left column, click Plugins. On the right side, look for Java. If it's disabled, it may be at the bottom on a grayed background. In another thread, an XP user said that the latest Java won't install (series 8). If it's completely blocked, then Java won't be useful for you any more at all.
