I have reset my computer and would like thunderbird as my email provider but unfortunately I have forgotten my email password and I was asking if you still have it under my email address.

Mozilla should not have your email account password. Normally you would be storing that ONLY in Thunderbird, and it would be kept on your computer and never sent to Mozilla.

Did you do the kind of Windows Reset that generates this folder:

C:\Windows.old

If so, can you find this folder:

C:\Windows.old\Users\your-user-name

If so, your Thunderbird password, mailboxes, and other data might be in there.

To explore further, it would be helpful to set Windows to show hidden files and folders. This article has the steps: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hidden-files

Can see this folder:

C:\Windows.old\Users\your-user-name\AppData\Roaming\

If you find that, let us know, and another volunteer more familiar with Thunderbird data recovery can assist you from there.
