I've developed an application which utilizes the camera and microphone via WebRTC. In Firefox you have to select allow the camera or microphone every time it is changed. If you select the always allow option it only shares the devices that where selected when you set that option. Is there anyway to always allow for all cameras and microphones, BTW this works perfectly in Chrome.

You can inspect and manage permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:

  • click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) at the left end of the location/address bar
  • click the arrow to expand the security message
  • click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info"
  • click "Permissions" to inspect and modify permissions

Alternatively you can go to the Permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > Permissions) to check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab.

Good info but still doesn't really solve the issue as in the permissions tab it only has the option for use default camera and use default microphone
