So, when I got on my laptop today, the font on some websites were smaller. I checked my font options and enlarged the font size, but that didn't seem to fix anything.

The uplodaded image is text on a website at the size of 18.

I'd really like to know what's happening and how this happened.

Hi, try changing the zoom level (Ctrl and + key, or Ctrl and - key) which is set on a per site basis. More - Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

This didn't seem to be the problem because the page size remained the same. Any more ideas?

Try to set layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to 1.0 (default is -1) on the about:config page. Adjust its value in 0.1 or 0.05 steps (1.1 or 0.9) until icons or text looks right. Modifying layout.css.devPixelsPerPx affects user interface and web pages (global zoom). You can use an extension to correct the appearance of web pages.

You can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
