Hi, just wondered if you are going to allow support for email scanning in ThunderBird with Eset Nod 32 antivirus, just had an email from eset support and they say "Thunderbird is no longer supported due to internal changes made by Mozilla to the program, when an email arrives the port and protocol are scanned for presence of malicious code, however, spam will not be able to be scanned and any viruses attached to an email where the threat has been added to our database after scanning will not be able to be scanned unless the attachment is opened."

Thanks Steve

I use ESET nod32 Anti virus. I have had nothing in the way of an "in Thunderbird" tool of any sort ever,

ESET tells me they are scanning email however . So really I have no idea what your correspondence is about.
