I don't want to keep separate sets of bookmarks on my home and work computers. They've already synced so how do I unsync them?

I just got a new computer at work and when I first logged into Firefox it synced with the bookmarks on my home computer. I want to use a separate set of bookmarks at work so how do I unsync the two computers and go back to no bookmarks on my work computer?

Hi

To remove devices from Sync, type about:preferences#sync in the address bar and select "Disconnect". This will disconnect the device you are using from Sync. You can then delete bookmarks and bookmarks folders from that device as required.

I hope that helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

You will have to restore an older JSON backup from before the sync to remove the bookmarks added via Sync.

The name of a JSON bookmarks backup file includes a total item count (folders and separators included) and an hash value to prevent saving the same backup more than once.
