My wife and I have separate t'bird accounts. After installing McAfee total protection I inadvertently allowed an add on which caused both accounts to crash. I've disabled the add on in safe mode and my account works ok but my wife's keeps freezing and the unresponsive text error message appears - sometimes. How do I sort this, please?

Can't find the issue number but I have just renewed my license and downloaded the update - that's when the problem started. Strangely the problem has gradually gone away. Over several days the duration of the hang-up reduced and all seems fine now. Thanks for responding.

I am working with McAfee to get more information to fix the crash issue. If you still have McAfee installed, we could really use your help.

Happy to help if I can. Yes, Still have McAfee Total Protection installed. The issue has re-emerged. My T'bird account works fine but my wife's still has the script issue and hangs up on launching. If she leaves it for a short while it works OK until the next close down/launch. I've looked at the dom.max.....run time config. settings in both accounts and these have the same settings.
