I get this crash report when I try a start firefox. Firefox won't start. Firefox also won't start in safe mode and the crash reporter opens. Crash ID: bp-0d7bf3cc-38b0-4c6f-bc7b-5066b2160913 Firefox version is relatively updated but not the latest. Not sure how to find my current version. any suggestions or help Thanks

hi ronJr, thanks for providing a crash report id. we have seen quite a number of similar reports about this issue in the last hours and this issue is likely caused by your symantec security software that is hooking into firefox (probably through a program/signature update done by them). other users reported that updating firefox in this situation helped with the crashes. you can download & install the latest firefox from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

I disabled the Norton Security (360 Premier) and upgraded to the latest version of firefox (48.0.2). Firefox is now operating properly and none of my Profile settings were lost including the Tabs of my last Session. Norton was enabled and firefox still seems to work properly. thank you for the help.
