i may be using mouse at bottoom left of page or it may be idle anywhere on page and suddenly it dissapears and the message box " you are about to close multiple tabs"message appears and instantly when i look for mouse it is hovering over the red X in top right corner. also when i uncheck the message "warm when about tp close tabs"it is back there next time checked with a tick in it.. this is becoming very frustrating as it will close automatically even in the middle of a youtube clip. and it just closed again while i was midstream typing this message .. grrrr please explain

Firefox should not be moving the pointer like that.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
