Using Thunderbird I created a list (group). I now address my E mail, using the list to Bcc: I now want to eleminate 1 person from that E mail. How do I do it? Thank You

The whole point of a Mailing List is that you don't need to see all the constituent Contacts, and this in itself helps overcome certain limitations designed into Thunderbird.

There used to be an add-on that would allow you to exclude one or more members of a mailing List. I doubt that it is still maintained and compatible with current Thunderbird.

This article describes two such add-ons. The discussion skims over a significant limitation.

If your list isn't too big, you could select it in the Address Book so it shows on the right, select all its Contacts (ctrl+a), do a copy (right-click|Copy email address) and then paste (ctrl+v) them into your message, taking care to set it to use Bcc. They will land all in one line, but as soon as you press return they will unfold into Thunderbird's usual one-address-per-line arrangement, where you can peruse the list and remove those you want to exclude.

Note that Thunderbird will refuse to send if you have "more than 60" (or thereabouts) addresses.

You can omit contacts from a particular message, without modifying the mailing list, by doing this: open the Contacts sidebar in a Write window by pressing F9, select the list in the sidebar, right-click it, Edit List (Ctrl+I), click OK, then select the contacts in the sidebar you wish to address and click an Add to button at the bottom of the sidebar. Ctrl+A to select all contacts, then deselect the ones to be omitted by selecting them while holding Ctrl.
